Last night I got a reasonably good night’s sleep. Went to bed at 11:00 p.m. and slept through till 6:00 a. m. After I woke, I shaved, got dressed and went out to my living room chair, to pray and read scripture. During my prayer time Jesus Christ reminded me of a promise verse He gave me in 1976.

1 I will stand at my watch
and station myself on the ramparts;
I will look to see what he will say to me,
and what answer I am to give to this complaint. [a]
The LORD's Answer
2 Then the LORD replied:
"Write down the revelation
and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald [b] may run with it.
3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end
and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
it [c] will certainly come and will not delay.
Footnotes:
a. Habakkuk 2:1 Or and what to answer when I am rebuked
b. Habakkuk 2:2 Or so that whoever reads it
c. Habakkuk 2:3 Or Though he linger, wait for him; / he

The key verses are found in verses 2 and 3. These verses were powerfully impressed in my mind and spirit. Since, I was not a good writer, then; these verses seemed totally out of my reach. My writing has improved over the years but I still need the help of editors to polish my articles.

Today, the Holy Spirit reminded me of the promises, God gave years ago and now was the time to start venturing out writing the revelation He gave me in 1976.

Cool and cloudy day in Collingwood today. We got up early and loaded the sound equipment and piano, then headed out to Wasaga Beach to "Goodie's" restaurant. After we set up there was introductions and grace said. Then, about thirty-five people had a buffet breakfast.
You can visit their website at http://fellowshipbreakfast.wordpress.com/ and have a look around their site.
Brian the cook always has such a good buffet breakfast. Pastor, Gwen Lindsay was the worship leader. A middle aged couple from Nigeria spoke to the breakfast this morning.
My wife Jan has gone to the Casino for the afternoon. Tonight, our grandson is coming to stay the night.
I'm working my way though the "Big Weekly Earnings," course. Doing a blog is the present chapter.

Hi:
Another sunny day in Collingwood, but cool, with a cold north wind. Sent some articles to my sister to be edited. They were old articles I was going to be using for Suite 101 a website devoted to publishing writers on the web
Jan and I went to hear Gordon Lightfoot last night at Rama. He was very good. But, a little too mellow. He is one of Canadians best song writers.
Had coffee and lunch with old friend. Was good talking with Morris.
We shared many things about our Christian experiences. Also, discussed elements of each other business interests.
Worked on the computer in the afternoon.

Going to see Gordon Lightfoot, this evening at Rama. Below i want to share and article i work some years ago.
Christians Cried Out!
Wednesday, December 11, 600 angry Christians cheered and clapped their way through three presentations by area Christian leaders at the Inaugural Board Meeting of Simcoe County Board of Education in Barrie, Ontario. The presentations focused on three critical issues related to Christian traditions, their role and place in Simcoe County Public Schools.
Rev. Ian Wilson, Pastor of the Barrie Christian Fellowship hammered the Board’s insensitive to its constituents. After several thundering applause to his remarks, he pointed the bank of faces streaming back into the overflow crowd saying, “I didn’t beg these people to come!”
Mr. Wilsons in his presentation clearly showed how the Simcoe County Board, one of the largest school boards in Ontario, has turned a blind eye to the multitude of Christian constituents’ in this county who have seen their Christian traditions quietly sweep and eroded out the public school system. The cowed continued electric and vocal throughout the presentation.
School Board Chairman, Ken Snelgrove was facing a critical situation with three more presenters to go, two being Christian and a wall of media reporters to his right and two television cameras racing around racing around the room getting the best shots. Surrounding him was the present reality of 600 angry guests.
22 board members were sited around a solid wood table in the priceless domed board room. Pastor Tony denBok of the Church of God church in Collingwood continued the assault. He said, “The issue to which our schools school board has been asked by the Ontario Public School Board Association to respond to is whether or not they feel that Judeo-Christian principles should be removed from the school system entirely. It is the will of your constitutes that the Simcoe County Board of Education respond with s resounding “No” to the proposed change. The room thundered their approval. The room was filled with applause all night for the statements made by presenters, pushing the board members further back into their cushioned-back chairs.
Finally and emotionally driven mother, Sharlene Edwards spoke to the Board about the need to include Christian clubs into their noon hour school time.
Quickly a motion with two seconds was made by School Board Trustee Debra Edwards of Orillia, suggesting that the content of the three presenters be discussed in an open board meeting. The Chairman, Ken Snelgrove, after some discussions with the Director of Education, Richard Boswell and a failed majority vote by the evening board, denied Edward`s motion because according to the Board`s bylaw`s no motion can be made on presentation material.
The tired multitude erupted in disapproval. People cried out from the audience, `We want action now!`` Snelgrove battled the crowd and varied moves by other Board member when finally he resolved that, According to their democratic policy they must follow proceed and defer matters to committee level. The audience’s hearts fell! One more presentation followed then Snelgrove recessed for break.
The crowd filed out downcast, stuck down by the very democratic freedoms their great grandfathers had fought and died for.
Christians in Simcoe County have given elected School Board a clear message. They don`t like what they are doing in our public schools. The fight has only begun!

Nice and sunny day in our town, but still cool. This is my first attempt at this blogging exercise, and it will nice to get back into a writing routine again.

In my past adult life I was involved in a lot of writing. With two earning degrees, I was forced to learn how to write effectively to past the multitute of term papers and reports. After graduate school, I spent a lot of time both writing a weekly newspaper column and writing magazine articles. Both, related to the Christian perspective of life as provided through the Lord Jesus Christ and the Christian Scriptures.

Now, the primary reason for this blog is an exercise to attract people to interact with me about online marketing. If anyone has some good stories about your experiences, please make a post?
